Entertainment Growing

The “Original” Houston Creole Heritage Festival perfomer line-up keeps growing.  We have Chris Tucker and Heather Hatton doing their MC thing.   Heather Hatton, a popular XXL model and MTV Artist was labelled as “One of the Prettiest Comedian in the world by Glamour Magazine’s in 2018” even better she’s a native Houstonian and we’re glad she will be with us April 11.  Chris Tucker is one of our favs and we love his suave dapper look.  He’s never let’s the crowd down.  That smooth radio voice manages to last all day.  It seems like David Walker,  aka  “Cowboycool” might be paying our festival a visit.  According to David, he blends “country, R&B/soul and zydeco in playful, party ready lyrics”  and creates his ownnew sound called Nu Country Soul… A little bit of country and a whole lot of soul/It’ll make you wanna move/And rock your body to a Texas Groove.”  You have our attention and gotta admit he’ll probably have ladies attention too.  We’ll keep our fingers crossed.  Who doesn’t like the classic soul and R&B?  For sure, we can’t say no to nostalgia.  That’s why the Houston Creole Heritage Festival is bringing a group called Plea Zure to the festival.  According to their Facebook page,  Plea Zure “has been on the Houston music scene for 20+ years performing in different music bands” and “vocals combined together bring a sound that is “Satisfying to the Soul.”  Sending love back at ya Houston.   The Houston Creole Heritage Festival is the “Original,”  the OG of  Creole festivals,  the first festival to bring Houstonians and LA together after Hurricane Katrina.   More info and tickets here.
