Vendors are excited about the festival and so are we!  Every time the festival team visits the venue, and looks at the space, they think “This is a perfect community zone!”  The sizzling sound of grilling with music playing and people chillaxing on blankets or lounging in chairs seems mighty neighborly and comfortable.  Are we in our own backyard? Sure feels like it.  Isn’t that EJ coming our way with his guitar?  Yup think so.  Heather will let us know.  Who’s that over there?  Isn’t that Chef Gason from the VIP area?  Look he’s heading over to the vendor with the gourment cookies.  Probably doing the chef to chef talk thing.  Thinking I might just take a sip of my mixed cocktail and watch the show. Kids are having fun. No worries.  No kitchen to clean up, no grocery shopping or prepping food for guests.  I’m the guest here at the Houston Creole Heritage Festival.  Worth every penny!
