Houston SHOP Inc.
The guiding force behind many regional and local events, including the Houston Creole Heritage Festival & Mardi Gras Parade, is Houston SHOP Inc., a non-profit organization founded in 2005. Houston SHOP Inc. objectives are to provide academic scholarships, job opportunities, enhance educational programs across the State of Texas, and to establish a benevolence fund for families in need. Our mission, vision, and motto are as follows:
Mission Statement
Houston SHOP Inc. is a non-denominational Faith Based Organization (FBO), dedicated to providing educational and entrepreneurial opportunities through scholarships to youths. We provide families in our community, who are experiencing economic hardships, by providing affordable financial assistance and for a dignified funeral services for their loved ones.
Vision Statement
Houston SHOP Inc. believes the quality of one’s life can be measured by how we treat, respect, and help others during our temporary stay on earth.

Receives Recognition
On October 12, 2019, at the Annual Lois Allen Award Luncheon hosted by the Baptist Sisterhood of Houston, Michael Bill was recognized for his outstanding and invaluable service to the community and honored as a Christian Entrepreneur in Texas. He was given multiple congratulations and certificates of recognition including a certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Al Green, a Member of Congress from Texas and the City of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. We are blessed!
